HARROGATE Theatre has announced full details of its exciting new season, including a two night live show of the cult comedy, The Mighty Boosh.
Back with a vengeance, Noel Fielding and Julian Barrett’s characters Vince Noir and Howard Moon will be joined on stage on Friday, September 26 and Saturday, September 27 by a profusion of characters from the hit TV show.

You can see Naboo the Enigma dazzle with shaman magic, see Bollo the Gorilla take on the irksome evil Cockney Hitcher and marvel at the worldly observations of the Moon. There’s punks and yetis, monsters, music and mayhem all in one psychedelic melting pot!

The Mighty Boosh shows nightly at 7.30pm. All tickets £25.

Following one of its most successful years ever Harrogate Theatre continues to attract a diverse range of exciting companies and performers to the region giving audiences access to a wide array of live entertainment.

With more than 170 performances in seven months, four world premieres and a whole host of well-known faces and companies it is set to be one of the most exciting seasons ever at Harrogate Theatre.

The Harrogate Theatre Box Office has undergone its first refurbishment since the 1970s and has seen many new features added, such as the addition of a lower counter to ensure the building is accessible for all, and an induction loop.

The completion of this work marks the halfway point of the second phase of a full restoration of Harrogate Theatre following last year’s overhaul of the main auditorium. The stalls bar, box office and public stairwells have all been given a well-deserved makeover, with plans already drawn up to restore the Circle Bar to its former glory in summer 2009.

The theatre is also giving someone the chance to win a part in a performance of this year’s pantomime Cinderella, which is at Harrogate Theatre from Friday, November 28 to Sunday, January 11. The successful entrant will have the opportunity to perform as the ghost for one performance only in the famous chase sequence which is a much loved part of every Harrogate Theatre pantomime.

To be in with a chance of winning all you need to do is complete the following phrase in no more than 25 words: ‘I’d make a fantastic ghost in Harrogate Theatre’s Cinderella because…’

Entry forms are available from the Harrogate Theatre Box Office or from the website www.harrogatetheatre.co.uk. You must be over 16 to enter. No previous experience is necessary.
