Fundraisers are hot to trot over coals
A group of 25, comprising members of staff at Harrogate Neighbours Housing Association, relatives of the residents, suppliers and businesses, took part in the firewalk challenge at Greenfield Court Extra Care Housing Scheme on Wetherby Road.
The group received tuition from Success Formulae, a company specialising in personal empowerment run by Steve Consalvez, the only Master Firewalking Instructor in the UK.

The firewalkers included Sue Cawthray, Chief Executive of Harrogate Neighbours and youngest participant 16-year-old Joshua Baron who works in the catering department at Greenfield Court.
The group were raising money to enable Harrogate Neighbours to buy valuable equipment that will help improve the lives of residents.
Sue Cawthray, Chief Executive of Harrogate Neighbours said: “It was fabulous to see so many people willing to walk across coals that were hot enough to melt a block of aluminium and we are very grateful to our sponsors for supporting the event.
