Letter: The Stray - The result was clear...
Coun Michael Harrison says “we will now spend some time examining ....the comments”.
Why? The result was a clear “no change”. End of story.
Compare his response to that in the EU referendum where the result was a smaller majority yet my MP described it as “overwhelming”.

Hide AdWe cannot have referendum results meaning one thing for the Government and something else for Harrogate Borough Council.
What we now need is a clear unambiguous unqualified statement from HBC published in next week’s Harrogate Advertiser that the matter is now closed and that more time will not be spent examining the comments in the referendum.
Without such a public statement, how can we have confidence in the council?
