Wayne Lineker is looking for a new girlfriend - read his controversial list of requirements in full

Are you “a worldie and above 30”? Are you prepared to give up your career for love “or at least to work from a laptop on a tropical beach somewhere”? If so, and you meet the rest of his long list of criteria, you might be just what Wayne Lineker is looking for in a partner.

The 58 year old brother of former footballer Gary Lineker - best known for running a number of party hotspots on the Balearic island of Ibiza - recently posted on Instagram an extensive list of what he expects from a girlfriend, after, he claims, his family decided he needs a partner.

In the now-deleted post to more than 500,000 followers, the ageing playboy said, “Ok - Let’s start this off like I’m normal: Strong nice loving personality” before moving on to “more important things” with an in-depth set of requirements.

“You must like older men, but only me” wrote Lineker, before stipulating an age range of “Above 30 (OK 28 29 could work) but not my age as that would just look weird”.

Dogs are acceptable, according to Lineker, but anyone interested should have “no baggage” - presumably meaning children, as his “are all grown up.”

Lineker also revealed that he “loves cooking, especially Waitrose ready meals” and any potential partner “must be able to cook.”
