Tadcaster Albion insist Dan Clayton is going nowhere amid interest from Scarborough Athletic
New Scarborough manager Steve Kittrick told theScarborough News that he had coaxed Clayton back to the Evo-Stik North side and he was set to use the left-sided player against Spennymoor on Tuesday night.
However, Tadcaster boss Billy Miller refuted any knowledge about the move and has insisted the left-back would be wearing an Albion shirt in their League Cup clash at Parkgate.

"Scarborough kept his registration and for some reason the new boss has though he is a Scarborough player.
"I don't know what they are up to and what games they are playing. I have spoken to Clayts three times in the last four days.
"He will be playing for Tadcaster tonight subject to the weather and will be here until the end of the season.”
